Hundreds gather for day-long farewell to Pres
Walkabout school and night of memories
HUNDREDS of past and present students of Presentation College Currylea bade a fond farewell to the school in a day of celebration in Tuam last Friday.
The event began with a walkabout of the school building, where former students gathered throughout the afternoon to reminisce and share memories with friends, many of whom hadn’t seen each other since their schooldays.
Former teachers in the school also dropped by, with Acting Principal Sean McGrath on hand to welcome everyone to the ‘open house’ tour.
