Artificial intelligence (A) is beneficial for our society. Technology advances and becomes more reliable and powerful every day with more and more development, one piece of technology that will play a massive part in our future is Artificial intelligence. A allows technology to do tasks that it couldn’t do before with extreme efficiency. It massively improves human quality of life by helping us do daily tasks making them easier and faster. A will create new jobs and fields of work evolving our society for the better. Not all people support A as many people have negative stigmas associated with A. Artificial intelligence is beneficial for our society because A improves the quality of life of our society, A will create new jobs and fields of work, and A massively improves the production of many fields of work. A massively improves the production of many fields of work by assisting workers, allowing them to focus on the important tasks. For example. Doctors used A to help diagnose patients with diseases and cancers early where it may have not possible by humans. “Researchers have used various AI-based techniques such as machine and deep learning models to detect the diseases such as skin, liver, heart, Alzheimer, etc.” [Source 2:]. A can predict and diagnose these diseases with very high accuracy. Many studies and test ran by researchers, Programmers and other professionals have shown that A using a feed Forward neutral network can predict liver disease at an accuracy of 97% up to 100%. This is not the only thing A can be used for to help with the medical field. A is also used to gather information on different sicknesses and disease. A compiles this information into a database which medical professionals can research and look over this information. A group of scientists and other experts in the EU have started a project just like this. The project named CLARIFY, which uses data gathered by A to help with cancer diagnosis. “CLARIFY (Cancer Long Survivor Artificial Intelligence Follow-Up), a

European project supported by the EU Horizon 2020 Research and Innovation Program, has developed a System Architecture that allows centralizing anonymized clinical data and providing an efficient methodology to share it among clinicians and researchers” (Source 3:) CLARIFY helps cancer patients every day allowing them to get diagnosed early so they can be treated as fast as possible, and it also helps the medical professionals using it saving them time, which they can use on other more important things. A isn’t only used in the medical field though. The Education field also uses A to provide the best and most engaging learning experience possible. They use A technologies like machine learning, in-depth learning, and language recognition, language processing and computer vision. These technologies allow students to have a personalized learning experience which allows them to be engaged as the lessons and information is present in a way they will most understand. With the pandemic, many students were forced to do online learning which is where A is used to help teachers and sometimes even replace teachers in student learning. A doesn’t need to replace teachers, it’s also used along side teachers helping them gather information on students, calculate grades, organize information etc. [Source 4:] Artificial intelligence massively improves human quality of life helping us do everything from doing basic home tasks, to helping researchers gather credible information. A can help people by allowing them to focus on more important tasks and do the mundane or everyday task for you and maximum efficiency. In the last couple years many inventions have sprung up that use A to run, Car company Tesla has been developing a A powered self-driving car, which helps our QoL by allowing us to not have to focus as much while driving. This is a good example of a every day task being improved by A. They have also announced a Self-driving freight

Artificial intelligence will not only open new jobs and fields of work, but it will help existing ones too. For example, we have already seen for many years A role in assembly line type of work, utilizing robot arms with tools built in to be able to assemble and produce product at max efficiency. This is just one example of a field of work were A can be used to Allow the human workforce to shift their work to more important things that A wouldn’t be able to effectively do. Such as politics, entertainment, or education etc. A doesn’t completely replace us. A allows us to shift what we focus on so society can be more productive and focus on what matters the most. As Artificial intelligence continues to develop and innovate, it will become more and more involved in our society, whether its helping someone remember what they need to do today or helping doctors fight disease and sickness. It will always be improving our society in efficiency and production. Taking over jobs that are mundane and not important allowing for more efficiency in that job and allowing us as a society to focus on more important tasks, improving our everyday task making human QoL even better and opening a whole new field of

Type 3: Theory of mind – This refers to understand others. Above all, this means to understand that others have their beliefs, intentions, desires, and opinions. However, this type of AI does not exist yet.

Type 4: Self-awareness – This is the highest and most sophisticated level of Artificial Intelligence. Such systems have a sense of self. Furthermore, they have awareness, consciousness, and emotions. The success of any humanitarian intervention depends on quality information, which is in the heart AI systems. In conclusion, amidst the fear that artificial intelligence is a threat, either now or in the future, it is clear that it has substantial and critical benefits for humans. Using the systems that mimic human and animal intelligence is the next frontier in solving problems within society. In fact, in its definition, AI seeks to create solutions to complex problems.
